In the complex scene of valencian architecture of 19th century, Timoteo Calvo Ibarra should be considered as one of the most representative authors. In his designs and interventions, such as the Literary University, the construction of new Cathedral’s Altarpiece, they are apparent the peculiarities of the first Historicism, coincident with Isabelline period.
